location is good, but the room... i'm not thrilled

tiny roombeanbag pillows

the room was tiny. there was barely space for two of us and our luggage. it is one of the more expensive hotels we're staying in on our japan trip, but by far the worst. we reminded me of we got a hostel quality stay at 4 hotel prices. the room didn't have real pillows, just uncomfortable beanbag pillows!!!

The room seemed a bit unclean. I spotted some marks on the walls and even paint residue on the bed frame. It wasn't what I expected. the hotel lacked a guest laundry service. This was inconvenient, as I needed to wash some clothes , so I was looking for washing machine.

the location was really convenient. i liked i could walk to shopping areas and restaurants. the hotel also let me drop my luggage before check in. this made exploring the area easy.

the staff didn't offer to help move my luggage to my room. this was different from other places i stayed. i found that a bit unhelpful.
